Friday & Saturday, September 10 & 11
- "Costuming Louise China Doll" with Louise Hedrick. Costume the 12" early French China doll, unquestionably the work of Jacob Petit, one of the earliest makers of French china dolls. Previous to this date, they were made of wood, papier mache' or cardboard paste. She will be dressed in the reproduction of her late 1850's costume...a summer lingerie dress of white batiste trimmed in many yards of lace, her original under-pinnings consisting of a full slip with large skirt, pantalets, and a short buckram full skirt which predates the hoop. Materials & pattern for a 2nd petticoat will be supplied. She has red leather shoes with brass buckle, white cotton socks, and a bonnet made entirely of lace, trimmed with red satin ribbon. Her ears are unpierced, and her red earrings are sewn into her medium brown mohair wig. The kit will consist of all of the above. Option to attend a 3rd day, fee to be determined.

Thurs.Fri.Sat.& Sun., December 2-3-4-5
- 3rd-Year Mourning Costume on F.G. Florence Fashion Doll - taught by Sheryl Williams. Our F.G. "Florence" Fashion Doll will be costumed in a beautiful creation by Sheryl. She's possibly heading off to a ball, looking for a new husband (not too risque for 3rd year of mourning??), and you'll have additional fun with evening accessories. Sheryl's seminars are popular, so get signed up soon! Fee will be determined soon. More details to follow.
